All that fuss was because my knitting compatriots and I knew that Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride wool/mohair blend yarn is an excellent knitting and felting yarn, with a pretty, slightly fuzzy texture after it's washed up, a lovely sheen, and great colors. It's also a great value--big, 4 ounce pull-skeins for a very reasonable price.
