Malabrigo Merino Worsted Hand-Dyed Yarn--Garnet
Sometimes you just happen across something wonderful--serendipity! A couple of years ago, I was researching for new yarns on the internet and ran across a little family-owned company selling hand-dyed yarns from Uruguay, Malabrigo Yarn. I bought a little for my personal stash. When it arrived, the only word that came to mind was Holy Cow! Ok, that's two words.
Anyway, I was blown away by the beauty of this yarn. The softness, the slightly thick and thin texture of rustic handspun, the intense color. Well, other people had discovered this gorgeous yarn, and were blown away too, because by the time I got to placing an order for resale, the waiting time for this beautiful stuff was tremendous, and I dropped the idea of carrying it due to the difficulty of getting it. Fortunately for all of us fiber-lovers, Malabrigo Yarns has grown and caught up with the demand for its beautiful product. So, TA-DAA! Ewe-Phoria Yarns, llc, is announcing the arrival of hand-dyed yarns by Malabrigo Yarn.
These beautiful yarns are made of 100% merino wool, and are so soft, have such loft and sheen you won't believe your eyes. The worsted weight knits at 4-5 sts/inch on US 7-9 needles.
This item is for one 100 gram. skein of stunning Malabrigo Kettle Dyed Pure Merino Wool yarn in a near-solid brick-y red with highlights of rust Malabrigo calls Garnet. Try some -- you won't be disappointed!
