TOFUtsies is that yarn.  Made from 50% superwash wool, 25% SOYSILK® brand soy fiber, 22.5% Cotton, and 2.5% Chitin, this yarn is a mix that has everything.  Good old cotton.  Wool, superwash treated to be machine washable.  SOYSILK®,  made from the residue leftover from making tofu, is soft, smooth, and drapey as silk, absorbent like cotton, and even more moisture-wicking, so it's perfect for socks.  And another new fiber, Chitin, a derivative of crab and shrimp shells, that's naturally antibacterial! 

Take all this and dye it to dozens of beautiful colorways that streak and stripe and blend, and you get TOFUtsies, a new cult favorite of sock knitters.  I've just recently converted to the TOFUtsies way, and after laying your hands on this unique yarn, you too will be sold!  It's got sheen that just won't quit, and makes a very unique fabric that's so soft and drapey it's a shame to limit it to socks!  Try it for shawls, scarves, and baby and kids' stuff too.  You might even want to try the new Tofu Tee with the Knit-Along.
